I'm happy to report that our friends in Bulgaria have decided to accept all BJCP categories next year. Is this our influence? I don't know, but very glad to see this. This way, you can simply enter whatever beers are your strongest!
With it so far off, I do not yet know if I will be driving there to deliver bottles. I will report on this sometime in early 2017.
In English:
Bulgarian Homebrewers Association, announce 5-th International Homebrew Competition at 1 of April 2017.
We will accept all categories of BJCP 2015
Only 200 entries will be allowed
The registration window will open between 1 of February and 2 of March 2017
Drop off location: Bulgaria,Sofia, ,ul.Venelin,No1,. “100 beers” store, +359 879 864 667
3 bottles from 500 ml or 5 of 330 ml, should be received, not later of 22-th of March.
Exception for foreign representatives, who be able to bring bottles a day before competition (1 of April).
At the competition day, only foreign beers will be judged and miniBOS and BOS,of course.
The party take place at Club Terminal 1,Sofia,Angel Kanchev str.,1

...YES , Iam prety shure that is , first of all ,your influnce. then ours, then perception of our visitors that is something great happened hear in Croatia with homebrewing.If they wish to growe up , they just have to open all styles .or most of it . also mean on Slovakian

The current plan is that we will go there and deliver entries. Will check with Ludo to see if MBR is okay for drop off, as usual.

Matt, any info about dropping off beers at MBR? Are you still delivering entries? When are you traveling, what is the last date to drop off beers at MBR? Also, how do you want to pack them? Plastic bag, beer box or something else?

The deadline for doing final edits on your entries is fast approaching. You need to make sure you have the correct information entered for your beers for this competition by Thursday 2 March, 2017 at 23:59, EET. At that time the system will lock down.
For Croats, we will again be collecting entries at Magic Beer Room and will personally drive them to Sofia for you, so if you want to enter, get those entries input. They accept all BJCP styles.
Get your entries to MBR by 17.00 on 30-03 and we'll deliver them for you. Make sure you have your bottle labels attached with a rubber band and your entry fee included in cash. We will not pay for entries that are missing their fees so they will not be accepted.

Man, I had a beer that got a 40 and still didn't win anything. Strong category.
Judging at this one seemed pretty good. I was on lagers with Petar Bognar from Slovakia and the guy who used to own Kaltenecker brewery. The guy from Kaltenecker and I were always within 1 point of each other. Petar was also pretty close to us. Pretty good judging from what I saw.
